Uniswap v4 and v3 for Stock Tokens

Robinhood Chain runs both Uniswap v4 and Uniswap v3. A Stock Token does not pick a version because a blog said so. It picks the pool that actually returns more tokens for the size being traded.

AATOS quotes hookless v4 and on-chain v3 together, plus firm API routes when those APIs allow the pair. The executable quote with the higher amount out is the one that becomes a plan. If none of them can fill, the result stays indicative. An indicative price is not a trade.

The books are not the same

On a live coverage check, 19 major USDG pairs could fill on at least one of the two versions. Most could fill on both. Two filled only on hookless v4: COIN and ORCL, both at fee 10000. Two filled only on v3: SGOV and SLV. NVDA, AAPL, SPY, and WETH filled on both, and the quote still has to choose by amount out. A saved winner goes stale. The next quote can land on the other book.

0x will refuse some Stock Tokens outright. That is a venue rule, not a sign that the chain has no pool. The on-chain quote is there for that case.

What this path does not include

Hooked v4 pools are not scanned. A hook is part of the pool key. Using the wrong one builds a bad transaction. Native ETH pools are also a different asset from WETH. A pool that trackers label WETH/USDG can be native ETH plus a hook. AATOS does not wrap ETH and does not call that pool WETH.

Agents that need a yes or no before they promise a fill should read stocktoken_quote, or the sample matrix at /api/liquidity. eitherExecutable: false on that sample means the sample size did not fill. It does not mean every pool on the chain was checked.

The swap itself is still unsigned until the user signs. See how an agent swaps a Stock Token.
